Wang Maoyan, born in 1996, currently lives and studies in Chongqing. He graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2019 and enrolled as a graduate student at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2020. He has won the Bronze Award in the China College Students’ Art Works Yearbook, was selected for the Young Art 100 Launch Exhibition, the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Young Artist Residency Program, and other art activities. His works have been exhibited at art institutions such as Today Art Museum, West Bund Long Museum, and Luo Zhongli Art Museum.
