All images are parts of the series Tar Trails. They show line-shaped repair work of asphalt cracks, from single motifs composed tar signs on the underground of the asphalt.
Every mind is limited, reality is what we see and touch, on what we move on. Every street has its own micro climate, its own compound and thickness of the road surface, its own character of weathering and renovation. Each image shows the tar trails of one street in Munich each.
Stefan Zausinger was born in 1965 in Munich, Germany. After studies of medicine, for many years head of Spinal Neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery of Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany. Since 2019 he works as a neurosurgeon in own practice in Munich. Exhibitions: Biennale Blau Diessen (Bavaria, Germany) 2020; Art in the town palace of Wertingen (Bavaria, Germany) 2020; Exhibition and winner of the Art Award of Weissenburg (Bavaria, Germany) 2020.
