These three digital artworks in particular, from the “Beyond Silence” collection”, bring together the scattered elements of Southwestern Asian women, give voice to the often forgotten struggles for freedom and equality, and portray the experience of women in contexts of wars without relegating them to static pages of history where we only remember their status as victims.
Dr. Pamela Chrabieh is a Lebanese-Canadian visual artist, researcher, activist, writer, and consultant in creative communications with international and multidisciplinary experience for more than 20 years.
